Supporting an Abused Woman to Bring an Emergency Motion

process that allows the parties to obtain a short-term order quickly in
certain serious circumstances. Very often, the need for such a motion
arises at the beginning of a case, before either party has engaged a
lawyer. This webinar walks frontline workers through the emergency
motion process, explores the common reasons that emergency motions fail,
and discusses how to assist an abused woman to gather evidence and
present it effectively so she can obtain the order she needs.

utilisés pour envoyer et distribuer des formes d'expressions
rabaissantes ou offensantes. Les lois et procédures applicables sont mal
connues. Pourtant, elles existent et sont même en développement. Que
dit le Code criminel, la Loi sur les écoles tolérantes ou encore les
projets de loi sur le sujet ? Quelles sont les procédures, les limites
et les ressources disponibles ? Le webinair fera un survol des aspects
